Upcoming Bernadette Peters Appearances

Having just had a marvelous event at FAO Schwarz in Manhattan to promote Broadway Barks, and the new plush doll based on the main character, Ms. Bernadette Peters has scheduled two more appearances for this year:

Blue Apple Books at the Brooklyn Museum of Art

Mike Herrod (Comics to Go) and Yukiko Kido (Posey and Flip-a-Word books) were invited by the Brooklyn Museum of Art to participate in their 2nd Annual Children's Book Fair, which took place last Saturday. Hundreds of children showed up with their parents and caretakers, and were able to meet face-to-face with some of their favorite Brooklyn-based artists and authors. Many discovered new favorites. Kids were enthralled when Mike Herrod demonstrated some of the tricks of the comics trade, showing how inspiration often comes from the people around him, as he drew portraits of family members for the crowd.
